Be a good neighbor by eliminating kitchen smoke & odor in high density area in South Lake Union. Additionally, the owner wanted a low maintence system that met the Seattle energy code.
ACI’s engineering team worked with the consulting engineer for the installation of a Halton Pollution Control Unit (PCU). The Halton PCU utilizes electrostatic precipitators (ESP), which is a system that captures smoke/grease while meeting the Seattle Code requirement. Further more, the PCU ESP reduces maintenance by employing an automated water wash down system. Two Carbon filters in series handle the odor control, an owner requirement.
